A Shippers Workshop on Project Logistics New Style

There is a separate workshop for shippers to learn about Project Logistics Management new style and how new technologies and processes can bring zero email project operations, savings and perform more projects with fewer people.

Introduction on reporting from the field ‘new style’ is another part of the continued innovation in the industry in an attempt to provide better information as well as proof of operations and in the case of damage, proof of damage for immediate reporting to insurance companies. This is part of compliance.

This material has been causing a lot of buzz and disruption in the industry and the interest from shippers is growing rapidly with corporations looking to reduce head-count and increase the workload for logistics departments.

    Justin Archard

    Corporate Director – Commercial

    Justin Archard has spent 19 years in Heavy Lift shipping –12 years with Jumbo and seven years so far with SAL Heavy Lift. He has worked the majority of his career in the Asia Pacific region, living between Singapore and Perth, Australia. Now based in Hamburg, he is responsible for SAL’s worldwide commercial activities.

      Ulrich Ulrichs

      Chief Executive Officer

      Ulrich Ulrichs joined Rickmers-Linie in 2005 and took over responsibility as General Manager Line Management, becoming a Director in 2008. From 1 July 2011, Mr. Ulrichs has been Deputy Managing Director of Rickmers-Linie. In July 2012 he was appointed Managing Director. Since 1 May 2014 Mr. Ulrichs is Chief Executive Officer of Rickmers-Linie and continues in this position since the take over of the Rickmers-Linie business activities by Zeaborn under the name of Rickmers-Line.

        Petrus Bouwhuis

        President & CEO of XELLZ B.V.

        36+ years of “industry and project logistics” experience. Presently he is active as President & CEO of XELLZ B.V. and more recently active as Assistant Vice President Global Transport & Logistics and Global Heavy Lift & Project Cargo Manager with one of World’s largest energy company ABB, as well as Global Head of Logistics for ABB Division Power Systems (PS).
        Bouwhuis is also a trainer of the Project Freight Management course.

          Wieland Risse

          Vice President EMEA of XELLZ Operations BV

          Senior manager with close to 30 years of experience in the global logistics industry with a focus on project logistics. More than 10 years experience living in Asia building and managing companies, networks and serving global EPC customers in the Asia Pacific Region.
